Smart Meter is a device with AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure). These meters will lay the foundation for the creation of the National Intelligent Measurement Infrastructure, the connection of all meters of any type (electricity, water, gas …) to a single network.
The system consists of the following modules:
All these services are used for ease of use of the meter and automatic connection to the power supply system. At the same time, the human factor in the use of the system is minimized. This, in turn, minimizes the “human factor” – manual entry errors and attempts at illegal operations. When connected to the network, any meter will read the consumer’s ID card via NFC. The information on the ID card will be used to specify the address where the meter is installed (Address Register), consumer identification (Population Register), registration in the cryptographic data protection system (PKI system) and opening an account in the “Payment System”.
Automatic integration with these systems is designed to protect the interests of both parties and provide many additional services in the future. For example, if a person has several objects (houses, apartments, cottages, etc.), he can control them from any such meter, as well as pay all these costs.
