ELECTRONIC IDENTIFICATION CARD SYSTEM

An electronic identity card (eID) is a government document that confirms the identity and citizenship of the owner within the country and is increasingly used in some countries.

The issuance of electronic identity cards developed by the company ensures all periods of providing citizens with the above-mentioned documents (collection, verification, production and issuance of information) and the highest level of security, which guarantees the complete security of personal data and documents of citizens.

FUNCTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES:

  •  Entering applicant information using a special module:
    • Personal information;
    • Information on primary documents such as previous ID card or birth certificate;
    • Biometric data – images of the face, fingerprints, iris of the eye with the implementation of verification in accordance with ICAO and ISO International Standards;
    • Additional information required for the processing and issuance of ID cards, including addresses and real estate registers obtained from foreign state resources through web services, such as the population register and registration of civil status acts;
  • Verification of the applicant’s information  using a special control module:
    • Reasons for applying for ID;
    • Identify and prevent cases of simultaneous application for ID at one or more different data collection points;
    • Detection of discrepancies between the received biometric data of the applicant through verification and identification with the biometric data provided by the State Biometric Bank;
    • Verification of the applicant’s data and initial document information with a list of restrictions;
    • Decision on the production of the card or rejection of the application;
  • Document production using a special personalization system of electronic documents:
    • Distribution of production tasks by priorities and assignments;
    • Visual personalization through laser engraving or printing;
    • Electronic coding of the chip using integration with special cryptographic subsystems such as TCAO PKT and national PKI;
    • Quality control (QA) using special devices and programs that successfully provide both visual and electronic personalization, including automatic and manual verification of basic and personalized data;
    • Management of re-individualization and production abandonment processes;
  • Issuance of a ready-made ID card to a citizen using a special module with the possibility of biometric identification of the recipient;
  • Inventory of available used and useless blanks;
  • Submission of information on certificates issued using electronic web services to foreign government agencies.

Such certificates are often produced with an electronic carrier in the form of ID-1 format plastic cards. These cards cover different sets of programs with the following possible assignments:

  • Electronic travel document (eMRTD) in accordance with ICAO recommendations;
  • National PKI card with identification and electronic signature certificates (ePKI eAuth / eSign, eIDAS);
  • Health card (eHealth);
  • Driver’s license (eDriverLicense);
  • Specialized built-in software.
