The e -Board is a device that consists of an interactive screen (touchscreen), a video projector, a computer, and special software. When you touch the surface of the board with your hand or a marker, the sensitive sensors accurately determine and transmit the coordinates of the contact point to the computer.
The input data is immediately described by the software and the resulting result is projected from the projector to the screen. The electronic board software provides data circulation in the “screen-computer-projector” link. The screen connects to the computer and does not require an additional external power supply. The perimeter of the screen contains infrared sensors that determine the exact coordinates of the marker when in contact with the surface of the screen. The main advantage of the e-board, based on infrared technology, is the ability to use any element – a pen and a pointer as a marker. It should be noted that there are also e-boards based on other technologies.
Teachers and students can display information from their electronic terminals on the electronic board. There is also feedback – at any time the information from the whiteboard can be displayed on the electronic terminals of the teacher and the student. It is possible to store information in the school database.
The electronic board allows you to watch videos related to the lesson, interactive 3D models, electronic textbooks, presentations, drawings and other materials for the lesson.
